Just what is "Clairvoyance"? Here is what Wikipedia has to say:
Clairvoyance (from 17th century French with clair meaning "clear" and voyance meaning "visibility") is the apparent ability to gain information about an object, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, a form of extra-sensory perception. A person said to have the ability of clairvoyance is referred to as a clairvoyant ("one who sees clear").

In plain terms however, a Psychic is a Clairvoyant - someone who can see outside of time and space.
No psychic is accurate 100% of the time, however . Good psychics have undergone training and posses enough experience to have gained a mastery of their talent and craft.
If Spirit wants to make the unknown knowable, it will often speak through a Clairvoyant. This is what is called a "psychic reading".
